KailashKher, the Sufi legend, has been busy creating music during the lockdown. He has written many songs since the lockdown began. Recently, he uploaded a recreational video of popular Sufi song Mast Qalandar on his Youtube channel.
The video was shot at the Bangladeshi TV Program ‘Wind of Change’. It is an international manifesto of cultural exchange. The platform brings talented musicians from across the globe collectively on one stage to create musical masterpieces.
Kailash said, “Wind of Change by Taposh was an event to remember. With so many beautiful and talented musicians to work as one unit and create this magic was not ordinary. Each note that was made became a work of passion and that was brought to life by each and every single musician present there. Music is a way to the heart and it never dies.”
Kailash Kher has also been doing his bit in helping the nation fight the global pandemic. Houston Sewa International and the Association of Indian Physicians of Northern Ohio (AIPNO) organized a live concert with the spiritual singer to raise funds.
Kailash Kher was also honored with ‘Padma Shri’, one of the top civilian awards given by the Government of India, for his achievements in the field of music.
The singer has been spending quality time with his family at his Juhu Apartment in Mumbai. Talking about his 10 year old son Kabir, he told, “I’m always busy in my professional life so much that it is the first time in 10 years that I’m spending so many days together with Kabir. Our bonding is growing. He teaches me some technical stuff. Kids these days are so smart, they are into everything.”
He believes that the lockdown has taught people a lot of things like cherishing moments spend with the loved ones, being creative, slowing down for a while and loving life. He is also enjoying chirping birds visiting his balcony these days.
Famous author Harish Sharma, Founder, HS Communication, said, “Kailash ji is very spiritual and full of life. He spreads optimism and calmness whenever he is around. I saw his latest video of Mast Qalandar and it was solacing in every way. Such type of positive energy is very important in this tension filled time of pandemic.”
The spiritual singer keeps in touch with his roots. His love for Lord Shiva is evidently visible in most of his songs. He regularly visits Parmarth Niketan in Rishikesh to perform and worships the Holy Ganga.
